Eating Out

Here in Lancashire we take our food very seriously and are proud of our local produce. This is my list of local favourites.

Open 8am – 5pm and late (9pm) on mon and fri. Our own restaurant so I am slightly biased. I eat here everyday…highly recommend the minute steak as a sandwich or not.

Hindelinis Menu.

The Auction Market

Only on Thursdays (every week) and Saturdays (every fortnight).

An important fixture within the local farming community. This is one of the busiest markets in the north. The cafe there does a spectacular lunch that will stop the best man in his tracks. Huge portions of meat pie, chips, veg, gravy, and more gravy. They have a selection of hot meals and cold and puddings that your granny used to make. All washed down with a cuppa. Basic but brilliant and go watch them sell afterwards for some entertainment.
