PLANNING YOUR BREAK

1. FOLLOWING YOUR BOOKING

As confirmation you will receive by post or email a completed booking form along with a copy for you to sign & return. There will also be added information included, detailing arrival time of 4.00pm with a departure time of 10.00am.

2. THE VILLAGE OF GISBURN

Gisburn is a small pretty village, which has a homely village pub serving excellent food. On the outskirts of the village there is also La Laconda, an authentic Italian Restaurant for you to enjoy, a petrol station and convenience shop and a Pub, The White Bull.

4. LOCAL SHOP

Hindelinis - Our coffee and farm shop stocks a limited supply of goods and gifts but serves fantastic food and wine from 8 - 6.

Clitheroe being 15 minutes away, contains a varied selection of restaurants, shops & supermarkets (Booths, Sainsburys and Tescos). Slightly further a field is Skipton being 20 minutes, again with a variety of shops & amenities to suit everyone.

5.  YOUR LODGE

Your accommodation will be available for you at 4.00pm on the day of arrival. Please don't arrive early as we will be preparing your lodge and hot tub right up to 4pm. Beds for the number of guests staying will be ready made (travel cot bed linen is not provided). Towels are provided (2 bath towels per person). The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery & utensils etc. You will find a small welcome pack of tea, coffee & washing up liquid along with washing up cloth, a couple of dishwasher tablets & tea towel to get you started. All heaters and boiler systems are in locked thermostats. Due to the significant rise in fuel if you would like access to the heat controls 24/7 there is an additional charge of £15 for a short break and £25 for a long break. Hot Tubs: Each hot tub is prepared for you before your arrival. Sometimes this means that it will not be at a useable temperature when you take over at 4pm. For this we apologize in advance but we must make sure it's clean.

• Travel Cot or High Chair £12 per week or £7.50 for a short break. Subject to availability.
• BBQ £12 per week or £7.50 for a short break (all charcoal is available from garage in village). Subject to avilability.
• Patio Furniture / Sun Chair Loungers £7.50 per week or £4 per short break. Subject to availability.
• Dogs, £40 per dog for a week. £25 per dog for a short break. 2 dogs max.
• If you leave any items behind and would like us to post them back to you there is a minimum charge of £10 plus VAT regardless of size and more for larger items.

6.  WEEK PRIOR TO YOUR STAY

Please give us a call to make sure everything is ok & allow us to check on your expected arrival time. This is because if you are arriving after 5.00pm we will make arrangements to meet you or leave a key.

7. RELAX NOW YOU’VE ARRIVED

You've arrived. Call in at reception (which is also the café) on Ribblesdale Park where we will welcome you & show you into your lodge. (Please be advised that we will take a credit card swipe upon arrival as a security deposit against any damage to our property or anti social behaviour). We will quickly point out a few things you may need to know e.g. hot tub, emergency telephone numbers etc. During your stay we are only a phone call away if you need anything. All we ask is that you respect the peacefulness of the area and your neighbours. No noise on the decks after 10pm. People have come here to relax so it's important that it's kept this way.
