An idyllic, two-bedroom cottage, built into the former entry gatehouse of the estate. Beautifully restored with some additional quirky features of our own, Gatehouse East is a firm favourite for couples and families alike.
In a remote location facing out to the parkland, Gatehouse East is one of two listed gothic entry gates that form the historic entrance to Gisburne Park Estate.
As one of Englands most picturesque estate entrances, with views stretching into the Yorkshire Dales, Gatehouse East is an ideal retreat for couples and families in search of time to spend together.
There’s a hot tub, the outdoor heated swimming pool, an open plan kitchen/living area and a cosy king bedroom with a striking window and view. Then there’s the bespoke bunk bed with whimsical decor to delight children of all ages. Large windows down stairs let light spill in across the wooden floor.
It’s a sumptuous retreat with every modern convenience, neatly arranged— including Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine, while the bathroom is a dreamily designed jewel, with a soaker shower and bath.
