Meet Lauren, our Reservations Manager

As part of an ongoing series right here on our blog, we’ll be giving you the chance to get to know some of the friendly staff members you’ll see in and around Ribblesdale Park during your stay, all working hard to ensure that your time with us is as pleasant and memorable as possible. We’re kicking things off this month with a quick chat with Lauren, our Reservations Manager! So, Lauren…

What’s your favourite part of your job?

Tough one… I’ve now been at Ribblesdale for five and a half years, and there are so many things I enjoy about working at the park. I’ve got to say, though, I think one of my favourites is definitely all the people I meet along the way. Some of our guests return to Park several times each year, and we have lodge owners who have almost become friends!

What do you think customers like best about Ribblesdale Park?

Definitely the location – we are so lucky to be located in such picturesque surroundings. The Ribble Valley has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and sometimes you start to take it for granted when here every day, but it’s truly something special.

What do you do for fun when you’re not at work?

I have a daughter who keeps me VERY busy. She loves to dance, mainly ballet, which involves lots of travel for us!

What’s your favourite TV show?

Am I allowed to say Love Island? Don’t know – but I’m going to anyway! The new season has only just started, so I think we’re all picking our favourite islanders at the moment…

If you could invite 3 guests to dinner (living and dead) who would it be?

I had to think quite hard about this one too, but I’ve narrowed it down to three people (thankfully all alive)…

– Prince Harry
– Dame Darcey Bussel
– My daughter (with Dame Darcey Bussell there, how could I not?!)

So that’s Lauren in a nutshell – we’ll have some more of our team to meet you very soon! While you’re getting to know our staff a little better, why not find out more about what we’ve got in store for you at the Park, too? Here at Ribblesdale Park we’ve got a fantastic range of beautiful holiday accommodation and lodges, from contemporary builds equipped with high-tech amenities, all the way to charming holiday cottages – the perfect places to relax in the heart of captivating Ribble Valley surroundings.
