Paul Stewart

Meet Paul Stewart from our Maintenance Team

We provide an inviting atmosphere where you feel like the Ribblesdale Park family – this week get to know our resident coffee drinker, Paul Stewart!

We want your stay at Ribblesdale Park to be welcoming, memorable, and relaxing. In this blog series, we are giving you the chance to get to know the friendly staff members you’ll see in and around our 1000 acre estate. This month we had a chance to catch up with Paul our Maintenance Manager! So Paul…

What is your favourite part of the job?

Hard to believe, but I have worked at Ribblesdale Park for five and a half years. During that time my favourite part of the job is meeting new people! I love a good chat and the park attracts a range of guests, families, and people from all over the country.

I enjoy watching the Park achieve great results through expansion and ongoing development.

What do you think the customers like best about the Park?

ME. (Chuckles).

But, in all seriousness, customers love the scenery, location of the park, and northern hospitality. Not just from our Park, but from other local businesses from pubs to tourist attractions.

In many ways, we, at Ribblesdale Park and the greater Ribble Valley, are very lucky to be in this location surrounded by such a beautify scenery. Really hard to go wrong.

What do you do for fun when you are not at work?

I’m a family man. When I’m not at work, I can often be found exploring local walks and enjoying time outdoors with my family.

How do you take your tea or coffee?

While at work, I prefer, coffee with milk and no sugar.

Instagram or Facebook?

When it comes to social media I browse both — I’m a bit nosey.

What’s your favourite TV show?

I am not really indoors much so don’t really watch that much TV. But, on the rare chance, you find me with the remote — I am usually watching sport.

If you could invite 3 guests to dinner (living or dead) who would it be and why?

If I could pick three guests to dinner…

I would have to say all the people I miss the most…my Mum, Dad, and brother.

Giving us the ‘awwwws’ here Paul! Thanks for sharing your story!

Now that you know a little bit more about Paul, remember, we will have more of our team for you to meet very soon! In the meantime why don’t you do a little more exploring of Ribblesdale Park we’ve got a fantastic range of beautiful holiday accommodation. From lodges to contemporary builds and even charming holiday cottages — our location is the perfect place to relax and unwind in the heart of the Ribble Valley.
