LARGE PARTIES
If you are a large party of 12 we have 2 options for you. Stables House has 6 bedrooms or Huntsmans Cottage and Whipps Cottage are 2 cottages in their secluded area which can also accommodate 12 people. Glamping: If you are looking to reserve a large number of tents please contact the office directly. Glamping has a total of 10 tents.
THE VILLAGE OF GISBURN
Gisburn is a small pretty village. In the centre there is a lovely deli where you can get some fresh basic supplies (the best fresh bread!) but I would suggest you do a proper shop at a supermarket before you arrive. There is a Texaco petrol station with convenience shop. Clitheroe being 15 minutes away and contains shops & supermarkets (Booths, Sainsburys and Tescos). Slightly further a field is Skipton being 20 minutes, again with a variety of shops & amenities to suit everyone.
Your Lodge or Cottage
Your accommodation will be available for you at 4.00pm on the day of arrival. Check in closes at 6:30pm. Please don’t arrive early as we will be preparing your lodge and hot tub right up to 4pm. If you want to book an early check in (1pm) or a late check out (12pm) you can do so, each costs £50. Beds for the number of guests staying will be ready made (travel cot bed linen is not provided). Towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery & utensils etc. In the lodge are will find some washing up liquid along with washing up cloth, a couple of dishwasher tablets & a tea towel.
Access
We are committed to ensuring that all our properties provide a welcoming and accessible experience for every guest. If your booking requires accessibility accommodations, we are happy to install a ramp to ensure ease of access. Please let us know your specific requirements in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements for a comfortable stay. The majority of our accommodations feature at least one walk-in shower. However, our Bronte and Amberwood lodges, Deer Park Cottage and Gatehouse East, Coot Cottage are equipped with baths that include shower facilities above the bath.
STABLES HOUSE
Stables House is a recently renovated old stables, hay barn and house all in one building. Its at the bottom of the park (7 min walk from cafe) and 2 min walk from the heated outdoor swimming pool. This house is ideally suited for celebrations and parties as you do not have any neighbours. It does have a large garden and a 12 man hot tub. At the edge of the lawn at one end is a fence but a steep drop after it so please take care if you are bringing small children. There are a couple of old stables that haven’t been renovated that have been cleared out if you want to leave dogs or bikes in. Its not 100% dog proof so bare that in mind also.
HUNTSMAN COTTAGE
If you are looking to book Huntsmans Cottage please be aware of a few things. This is a gorgeous centuries old cottage, with 4 bedrooms, which is set back from a small stables yard. The stables are no longer used. It is next door to a small working farm and is a 5 min drive from Ribblesdale Park on the edge of the estate on the road to Bolton by Bowland. Its a very special place but its a proper countryside experience so please take note.
WHIPPS COTTAGE
Whipps cottage was recently renovated and sleeps 4. Its a spacious cottage but doesn’t have a large outdoor area. It is located next door to Huntsmans Cottage which sleeps 8.
HEATED OUTDOOR POOL
Access is only for Ribblesdale Park clients. The pool has a pool side responder not a life guard so please do not rely on the life guard to monitor children, this is always your responsibility. All the rules and regulations are on signs at the pool and on the disclaimer form so I won’t repeat them here. The depth of the pool is 1.47m in the deep end and 0.8m in the shallow end so do not dive! Its heated to 29 degrees. Pool opens Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays between 10am and 4pm. The pool will be shut down for 20 mins at lunchtime to administer any chemicals if necessary. Max number of occupants in the pool at anyone time is 20. (We reserve the right to close the pool at any time for maintenance purposes). There is a small WC and a small changing room. There is CCTV in operation and Wi-Fi on the premises. Pools are extremely dangerous venues and both adults and kids get carried away and over excited so please be extremely conscious of everyones safety at all times. The Pool is only open from April until September.
WI-FI
YOUR HOT TUB
Each hot tub is prepared for you before your arrival. They are also managed everyday during your stay with us so don’t be alarmed if you see someone attending to it. Please read the health and safety information in your welcome pack in the lodge about the do and don’ts of using a hot tub to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Please don’t put bath oils, bubble bath or any foreign solutions into the hot tub as this will affect the chemicals and safety of the hot tub.
BBQs
BBQ’s are available to rent from the estate office. We have recently had a few instances of people using throw away BBQ’s on the decking. This is a serious fire risk and in each instance has left a nasty burn mark on the deck. Please don’t use these throw away BBQ’s at Ribblesdale Park. You will be liable for any damage caused I am afraid and it could be a lot more serious than just a nasty burn on the deck. Thank you in advance for helping us manage this.
PLEASE BE QUIET
All we ask is that you respect the peacefulness of the area and your neighbours. Please turn the noise down on the deckings after 10pm…you can still use the hot tub and enjoy a drink as long as its not keeping others awake. Noise travels very easily at Ribblesdale at night. People have come here to relax and recharge so it’s important that it’s kept this way.
SUPERMARKET GROCERY DELIVERY
You can arrange for a supermarket grocery delivery to be sent to the park. To ensure a smooth delivery, please follow these steps:
1. Address your order to: Estate Office, Ribblesdale Park, Mill Lane, Gisburn, BB7 4LP.
2. Include your details: Make sure to provide the full name used on your accommodation booking, along with your telephone number.
3. Schedule delivery after arrival: Please arrange for your grocery delivery to arrive after your check-in time and at a time when you are present so that we can direct the driver to your lodge upon arrival. Please note check in time is 4pm-6.30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 10am-11am on Saturdays.
Following these steps will help ensure your groceries are delivered smoothly, allowing you to settle in and enjoy your stay.
DOGS
Dogs are very welcome at Ribblesdale Park. There is an additional charge of £50 / dog. Please keep them on a lead at all times and pick up their mess. Bins and bags are located around the park. Some lodges are dog free for those who prefer.
NO SMOKING
Strictly no smoking in the lodges.

ENCLOSED GARDENS
Not all gardens are enclosed for dogs. If you require an enclosed garden, please note this at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. The Knightley lodges all have gated gardens, as do Gatehouse East, Deerpark, Whipps, Huntsman and Coot Cottage. Some Malham lodges also have gated gardens, as do Wentworth and Chatterley. Please call us to check enclosed-garden availability for the Wentworth, Chatterley and Moorland lodges.
Please note we have a limited number of enclosed gardens and cannot guarantee availability. Other lodges have gated decking areas. We ask that all dogs must be exercised on a lead around the estate.
